Youth Advisory Board
Youth advisory board members play crucial roles in shaping the organization’s direction, programs, and impact. Members in grades 7 to 12 are welcome to lead projects based on their interests or expertise. If a project aligns with their specialty, they are responsible for both planning and hosting it. Examples of projects include local clean-up efforts, animal services, senior citizen care, food service, and gardening, among others.
This initiative aims to cultivate leadership skills and promote community engagement and service. Serving on a youth advisory board provides members with opportunities for personal growth, leadership development, and skill-building. They learn valuable teamwork, communication, and decision-making skills that will benefit them in their future endeavors.
